Happening Now – A Rocket Report from the Front Lines

Things do go a little wacky here at the Center of the Universe in the time of the Solstice, and the Fremont Fair. On June 14, 2011, local developer Brian Regan reported some interesting happenings going on in the ‘hood – particularly in the area of his property at 3417 Evanston Avenue North.

Enjoy Victory Music Day (and the Solstice Parade) at History House

On Saturday, June 18th, the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade will roll down the fair streets of Fremont, starting at Noon. One outstanding place for viewing – for those who have chosen not to be in the parade – will be at History House (790 N 34th.) For Victory Music will host concerts in the covered sculpture garden courtyard of the museum before and after the parade.

Fremont Fair Posters at Frame Up

Again this year, Frame Up Studios will sell the fabulous Fremont Fair posters (before, during and after the festival) to raise money for Solid Ground, and their programs to end poverty through building community.

FrogFrog now provides a chance to check out some Seattle Art Cars. Take a look at the photos collected so far – then compare them in person by visiting the Fremont Street Fair on June 18th & 19th, and the Seattle Art Car Blowout!
