On January 20th, at 2p, we will re-launch the Fremont Fireside Chat series for 2018, now at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library. This is another opportunity to hear from Suzie Burke, one of Fremont’s most involved land owners, on the history of the industrial areas of our neighborhood.

On Wednesday, June 15th, at Noon at Gasworks Park, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual picnic, rain-or-shine, in the shelter at our waterfront industrial park. Kvichak Marine Industries, a Vigor Company and Fremont-based boat builder, recently won a contract to design and build a 48’ all-aluminum foil assisted research catamaran for the King County Environmental Laboratory.
Kvichak Marine Industries (a Vigor Industrial Company headquartered in Fremont,) recently delivered the first in an order of three Bristol Bay boats, and has recently been awarded a contract for two all-aluminum 400 passenger-only ferries.
