Postponement Of Work Party At Fremont Peak Park

The community work party originally scheduled for cleaning and pruning at Fremont Peak Park on Saturday, August 25th, has been cancelled. Instead, the neighbors who care for and groom this public park hope to see everyone for the next work party on September 22nd.

Submit Ideas For Parks & Streets Improvements by Feb 2nd

It is time to submit ideas and proposals to the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods on ways we can improve our streets and parks, through the ‘Your Voice, Your Choice’ (YVYC) initiative. This year, $3,000,000 will be spent on small-scale improvements, submitted by us and our neighbors, between now and February 2nd.

District Four Public Safety Open House At Gas Works

On Wednesday, August 16th, from 5p – 7p, Seattle City Councilmember Rob Johnson will be hosting a Public Safety Open House specifically focused on Council District #4. At the Gas Works Park picnic area, attendees can hear from, and ask questions of, experts in the field of homelessness and crime prevention.
