The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar continues to offer its entertaining yet educational line-up of events for the 21+ crowd. This week, enjoy a ‘Battle Of The Bourbons’ on June 11th from 7p – 9p (for $10 per person,) and a free wine tasting entitled ‘Grenache or Go Home’ on June 12th from 5p – 7p.
On Friday, June 6th, Fremont Month kicks into full gear with the Fremont Briefcase Relay at 6p, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk from 6p – 9p, and the Fremont Fun Run at 7p.
On May 28th, at 7p, enjoy a unique whiskey tasting event at The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar as attendees are treated to a world-wide selection of 1/3rd ounce samples of single malts.
Twice this week Vif Wine|Coffee offers tastings – first the weekly Thursday wine tasting and then a special tasting on Sunday, May 18th, with the wine makers of Syncline Wines.
On Thursday, May 1st, from 5p – 9p, the Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will feature two fine Italian wines for tasting, and attendees can meet the makers and the distributor.
Registration closes on Thursday, April 10th, for the 13th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Troll Stroll through Fremont, to be held April 12th from 1p – 5p. For a registration fee of $45, participants will be given a t-shirt and drink tickets to twelve of Fremont’s favorite pubs
Since its opening, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar has hosted a free wine tasting (for those 21+) every Friday. Starting in April 2014, Thursdays become the new Friday with the wine tasting moving permanently one day early.
On March 13th, from 7p – 8:30p, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will hold a special tasting of library wines from Hedges Family Estate, a premier Red Mountain producer.
For some, grappa is synonymous with firewater, but The Barrel Thief has a tasting scheduled for Tuesday, February 18th at 7p where they promise delicious, refined, complex and nuanced grappa for your tasting pleasure.
While The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar is a great place to bring a date on St. Valentine’s Day, it’s also a terrific hideout for that enemy day of all singles – February 14th!
