The Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will once again host its Feast of the Winter Solstice – the beautiful, bountiful and artistically intense celebration of the longest night of the year – on Saturday, December 20th.

The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and the Seattle Repertory Theatre will host a public forum, on Monday, August 18th at 6:30p at the Seattle Rep, on Artistic Freedom & Artistic Responsibility.
Between August and November of 2014, fifteen theatre companies plan to produce works by the absurdist, avant garde playwright Samuel Beckett through the Seattle Beckett Festival. The first of these productions will take place in Fremont, at West of Lenin, from August 13th – 24th, and is called ‘Life = Play, An Evening of Beckett Shorts & Rarities’.
On Tuesday, August 5th, at 9p, Karaokegrass returns to Nectar Lounge, after a summer-hiatus, for more free opportunities to sing in front of a live band.
