Fremont Chamber Offers Quick Entrepreneurial Education, & Networking

Next week, on November 16th at Noon, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will host a discussion on the Wine, Beer & Spirits Industry. In addition, as part of a new educational meeting segment, Christopher Gronbeck of The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will talk for a few minutes about his unique mission for creating a better informed client base. At its October meeting, the Chamber welcomed consultant Berry Zimmerman, of BizEnrich, for a 5-minute presentation on introducing your business, and involving others in helping you grow it.

Call For Art Submissions For Seattle Presents Gallery On Homelessness Theme

For an 180-square-foot storefront in the Seattle Municipal Tower, called the Seattle Presents Gallery, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture is seeking four artists/artist teams to develop and coordinate a social practice/community engaged project. The projects must address homelessness, gentrification and/or displacement, and will culminate in a two-month exhibition between the months of February and September 2017.

Peter Glick, of Roxy’s Diner, The Backdoor and, once upon a time, Fremont Fire Pit, issued a warning about excessive difficulties – and expenses – he encountered after signing on with Mogl in February.
