She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. Fremont Siphon Replacement Project Nearing Start

Soon King County Wastewater Management will begin replacing the nearly 100-year-old Fremont Siphon, a major sewer pipe running under the Lake Washington Ship Canal from Fremont to Queen Anne. The Siphon carries sewage and storm water from North Seattle, and cities around it, to the West Point Treatment Plant in Magnolia.
