Hopefully you’ve had a chance to enjoy the sight of the new bright paint on parts of the Fremont Bridge. The contractor has been cleaning and covering the faded bridge with shiny blue-and-orange, on the north bascule/leaf. However, according to Art Brochet of the Seattle Department of Transportation, the work has been delayed occasionally by heavy rains, high winds, or just bad forecasts.
On Monday, October 27th, the Fremont Neighborhood Council welcomes all residents – and anyone – interested in learning more about Fremont’s residential concerns. The monthly meeting will be held at Doric Lodge #92 at 7p, and is open to the public.
