Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!
On Wednesday, October 16th at 8a, at NalandaWest, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will host its second-annual ‘Social Good’ networking gathering, intended to connect businesses and non-profits for positive partnerships.

On Thursday, October 17th, at 7:30p, the Fremont Abbey Arts Center welcomes Andrew Combs, performing new music from his album ‘Ideal Man’.
The FAC will host more lantern-making workshops, for those who want to light up the Troll, and the haunt to follow, with illuminated critters, creatures, ghouls, and monsters.
The annual Trick-or-Treat In Fremont will return to the Center of the Universe in 2019, with well over 100 Fremont boutiques, restaurants, bars, offices, and shops already signed-up, and ‘Participating Business’ posters already appearing in area windows.
On Saturday, October 12th, from 2p – 5:30p, Seattle Made will focus on Fremont, and the artisanal production spaces that make a large part of our commercial area. ‘A Tour of Fremont Production Spaces!’ will take attendees behind-the-scenes at three specific locations, while talking about operating these small, independent businesses in Seattle.
On Tuesday, October 15th, from 5:30p – 7:30p, find another fun reason to step inside Fremont Mischief Distillery – this time it is a fundraiser for the Wallingford Community Senior Center (which also serves seniors from Fremont.)
On Saturday, October 12th, at 6:30p, at Phinney Books, join Fremonster Caroline Sayre and others for a non-partisan, community gathering; a ‘Civic Saturday’ for inspiration, and encouraging connection and reflection, in a new tradition.
On Thursday, October 10th, from 9:30a – 11:30a, there will be a special informational breakfast at the Wallingford Community Senior Center (which serves Fremont as well) about the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s Village program.
On Thursday, October 10th, from 6p – 7:30p, in the B.F. Day Elementary School Cafeteria the Seattle Department of Parks & Recreation has invited everyone to come and provide input on proposed renovations to the play area at B.F. Day Elementary School.
