Mark your calendar for Park(ing) Day on Friday, September 15th, when community members can create street parks and/or temporary art installations out of on-street parking spaces.
On Monday, July 24th, at 7p in Doric Lodge #92, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will hear from a couple of special guests, as well as discussing issues and concerns from area residents.
On Sunday, July 23rd, at 6p, Outlander Brewing will be hosting a weekly Open Mic for all genres of performers looking for an opportunity to put themselves in front of an audience, while everyone enjoys Outlander’s great line-up of artisanal beer.

Atlas Obscura Field Agent Megan Hanna will lead a small group of intrepid explorers among three stops, where representatives will share rarely disclosed information about these particular organizations.

On Tuesday, July 11th at 7:10p at The Powerhouse, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will host its monthly community meeting, and they’ve invited Moral Choice, an anti-racism training and consulting organization, to lead an open and public conversation.
Check out the Fremont First Friday Art Walk this Friday, July 7th, to see the art, meet the artists and get out strolling on a summer’s eve. The FFF Art Walk takes place from 6p – 9p, and features a number of typically unique Fremont venues, all about the Center of the Universe, giving us opportunities to expose ourselves, and our friends, to culture presented at an accessible, community level.
On Monday, July 10th, at 6:30p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library System will host an evening of original poetry by three fresh, local voices.
