The City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture has asked for applications from artists interested in working as part of the team designing and building the New Seattle Police Department North Precinct, and developing art for this new civic building.
On January 6th, Seattle Parks & Recreation will begin construction on the Woodland Park Play area at 1000 N. 59th St. Unfortunately, the construction will require the play area to be closed to the public until work is complete, possibly in April 2014.

On Wednesday, November 20th, from 6p – 7:30p, at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, King County’s Project Team will welcome everyone to a community meeting of new information on the Fremont Siphon Replacement Project.
The Seattle Public Schools has proposed new attendance area boundaries to accommodate an increasing enrollment, and construction of new school buildings. The District currently will accept public input on these Growth Boundaries via a survey through October 25th.
On Saturday, October 26th, from 10a – Noon, the City of Seattle will host a community open house about the site selected for the new North Precinct for the Seattle Police Department – at the Bitter Lake Community Center.
On Monday, August 19th, at 8p, the Department of Planning & Development is holding an Early Design Review meeting on a new development proposed for 3651 Interlake Ave N.
On Tuesday, July 9th, from 6p – 8p, at the Lake Washington Rowing Club, a public meeting will be held on the North Transfer Station rebuild.
