This Friday night, June 17th, starting at 9p, you can witness the most amazing spectacle ever – the Solstice Parade in reverse! The floats that will be on-display during the parade on Saturday at Noon need to be moved into place – they are big, they are heavy, and many hands make light work. Plus, it’s a great way to help the parade, and get a sneak peek!
On Saturday, June 18th, the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade will roll down the fair streets of Fremont, starting at Noon. One outstanding place for viewing – for those who have chosen not to be in the parade – will be at History House (790 N 34th.) For Victory Music will host concerts in the covered sculpture garden courtyard of the museum before and after the parade.
You can go sit and watch the Solstice Parade, at Noon, on Saturday, June 18th – or you can participate! Why be passive when you can be an active part of this incredible experience? Imagine being a part of it all! Questions? Contact volunteers@fremontartscouncil.org if you need more details on how to get involved.
On Saturday, May 14th, starting at Noon, volunteers are needed to help with the pre-parade, as the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) shifts float bodies from winter storage to the art studio. And, on May 21st, attend the Grand Opening of the Solstice Parade build, at the Powerhouse (3940 Fremont Avenue North) at Noon.
Saturday, May 14th, from Noon – 4p, will be the first volunteer community party for the Fremont Wetland Trail Park.
