Autumn Quarter Just Starting For Ikebana Classes
This fall learn the meditative art of Ikebana floral arranging, with local artist Charles Coughlan. Classes take place on Wednesday evenings, at 7:15p (perfect for date night,) and Thursdays at Noon.

Through September 7th, Fecal Fest at Woodland Park Zoo lottery entries will be accepted on-line.
The Stone34 building, at N 34th St & Stone Way, will open to the public, on schedule, in August 2014.
On Saturday, July 19th, from 11a – 2p, the Hallows Church will host one of its annual ‘Party In The Park’ gatherings where everyone from our community can celebrate the season, and one another.

The hearing will take place at 6p at the Lake Washington Rowing Club.
On Saturday, May 3rd, at 1p, at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, Master Gardner and Beekeeper Paul Bryant will talk about pollinators – the insects and animals that collect and spread pollen, and make our flowers grow.
On Saturday, April 26th, from 11a – 3p, a volunteer work party will install four raised beds in the backyard of B.F. Day Elementary School. Volunteers are needed to measure, drill, and assemble the beds, and fill them with organic dirt.
The southbound exit from Aurora Avenue North/SR99 onto Dexter Way North will be closed from 9a – 3p on Friday, March 29th.

Clean-up of Fremont Peak Park had to be rescheduled after last week’s inopportune snow fall. So the Friends of Fremont Peak Park issued a ‘snow check’ that will come due this Sunday, February 16th, from 10a – 1p.
