Opening Weekend for Music in the Sculpture Garden

This Sunday, June 5th, kicks-off the 7th season of the annual Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series at History House (790 N. 34th St). These FREE concerts, featuring some of the Puget Sound’s best acoustic musicians, will be held weekly from 2p – 4p, in the covered courtyard of History House.

Fremont Fitness Festival Kick-off Sunday, May 1st

Don’t forget – the first-ever Fremont Fitness Festival will launch this first week of May. Participants in the 12-week fitness challenge (prizes for ‘Most Improved’ and ‘Fremont’s Fittest’) will take an assessment, using the President’s Challenge Physical Fitness Test, on Sunday, May 1st at Noon, Wednesday, May 4th at 4:30p, or Saturday, May 7th at Noon, all at Sound Mind & Body Gym.

We all knew there was a benefit to having Theo Chocolate located here in Fremont. For the first time, ever, the high-quality, fair-trade, organic chocolate makers will offer a chocolate bunny for Easter. Available in limited quantities, this tasty treat can only be purchased in the Theo retail store at 3400 Phinney Avenue North.

Help Rotary, And Win A Trip for 2 To Alaska

The Rotary Club of Fremont has launched a fundraiser, to support their local and international service projects. Throughout the month of May, 2011, members of the Rotary Club will be selling raffle tickets for a donation of $30 (or 4 for $25 each,) for a grand prize of a cruise for two to Alaska, along with $600 in spending money.

Look around…is there anything that you no longer really need, but someone else could truly treasure – and might pay the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) to buy?
