This Sunday, January 17th, from 5p – 2a, at Fremont’s elegant and favorite non-secret speakeasy, The Backdoor, pay special tribute to the always classy, always unique and deeply missed David Bowie.
On Wednesday, December 2nd, from 7p – 9p, at the Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar, sample rare mezcal from Wahaka. This limited seating event will be illuminated by Eduardo Belaunzaran, an experienced connoisseur of Agave distillates and mezcal.
This Fall, Fremont’s aptly named distillery, Fremont Mischief, has plenty more to get everyone 21+ in well-deserved trouble. Fremont Mischief has announced their latest collaboration: warm up your winter palate with artisanal popcorn from KuKuRuZa, flavored with Mischief apple brandy.
Next week, on November 2nd and November 4th, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar offers up two of their signature, educational experiences in the realm of cocktails and fine spirits.
On Wednesday, October 14th, it is time for a favorite Fall event at The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar – a Rye Whiskey Tasting. From 6p – 8p, drop-in to sample one of the two tasting flights, for $5, or both for $10.
On October 15th, 16th & 17th, The Blind Café returns to Seattle, and NalandaWest, for six more seatings of this innovative social change and education program. For three nights, at 6p and 8:30p each night, people can enjoy a delicious vegetarian meal while indulging in a sensory experience and learning about the ways blind members of our community navigate the sighted world.
