She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. When it comes to Fremont, she likes to say she's full of it!

Seattle Councilmember Tim Burgess Issues Update On Homeless Encampment Actions

This week, Seattle City Councilmember Tim Burgess (elected at-large) sent out a follow-up e-mail and blog post on an ordinance introduced to the Council (by Councilmember Mike O’Brien, of District #6) that would create a right to camp on public property for indefinite periods of time. Councilmember Burgess opposed the introduction of the legislation, and has asked citizens to engage in discussion about this issue and the proposed new law.

This Friday, October 7th, from 6p – 9p, the Fremont Art Walk welcomes everyone to stroll our venues and view the art from a diverse selection of artists, selected by a diverse collection of curators. The venues around Fremont not only host visitors each First Friday, but they each select their own artists.
