She's served on the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and the Fremont Arts Council, and can be seen wandering the Center of the Universe year 'round. Literacy Source Begins Registering Students At New Lake City Facility

While sad news for Fremont, in April Literacy Source will be relocating to more spacious facilities in Lake City, at 3200 NE 125th St. Attend the upcoming Annual Literacy Source Breakfast! Ways To Grow, And Simultaneously Green, Your Business

Last Wednesday, March 16th, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce (FCC) hosted an informational meeting on steps businesses could take towards greener practices, without spending their green. The meeting featured representatives from the City and King County, along with representation from one local business (Green Cleaning Seattle) taking massive steps to save the earth, and enhance their business for employees, customers and everyone.

Save The Date – Neighborhood Expo 2016 Arrives Soon

n Wednesday, April 6th, from 4:30p – 7:30p, everyone has a chance to find out about services, resources and opportunities in Fremont, and its surrounding neighborhoods. The annual Neighborhood Expo returns to Fremont Studios, with information, free samples and giveaways from over 150 area businesses, non-profits and government agencies.

Volunteer, And Help Improve Fremont, With Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest

Volunteers are still needed to sign-up for the Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest on March 25th & 26th, to contribute to this entertaining, and educational, fundraising event. Volunteers are most critically needed for Saturday, March 26th, from 8p – 11:45p, to help the Seattle Scotch Fest raise money for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce Community Grant program.
