On October 13th, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) held its monthly meeting, nicknamed the ‘COW’, and discussed several of its arts events, past and future.
On Wednesday, October 21st, from 7p – 8:30p, Seattle Parks & Recreation invites the community to review schematic designs and provide feedback on the planned Sensory Garden at Woodland Park Zoo. The community is encouraged to participate in this review, taking place at the Phinney Neighborhood Association Red Room, to better create a garden for all.
Next Sunday, on October 18th, from 10a – 1p, the Friends Of Peak Park will hold a small community work party, and able volunteers are needed.
Last Wednesday, October 7th, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Pacific Northwest Campaign honored local leaders, and others, at their second annual awards dinner at Fremont Studios.
