Kirby has been in Fremont for a lifetime, as a resident, employee, employer, and playmate. The folks at Fremont Health Club have asked that you consider joining in on a run to support the kids on Sunday, June 8th at 8a at Magnuson Park. This is the ‘No Kid Left On The Sideline 5K’, and you are asked to participate to raise money to provide shoes and gear so that underprivileged kids can participate in extracurricular athletics.
On Monday, June 2nd, from 6p – 7:30p, the Bastyr Center for Natural Health is offering another in their free lecture series on ‘Living Naturally.’ This presentation will be giving tips and suggestions for ways to keep kids healthy, using the latest information on nutrition, exercise and health care.
