On Sunday, November 16th, from 10a – 1p, volunteers are needed to help spread mulch in the community-maintained Fremont Peak Park.
On Tuesday, November 11th, the National Veteran’s Day holiday, Woodland Park Zoo has offered free entry to all active, retired, and veteran U.S. military personnel and their spouses with valid service identification.
On Saturday, November 15th, at 3p, Fremocentrist.com’s own Kirby Lindsay will be presenting research on the first 50 years of the Fremont community’s history, with the next Fremont Fireside Chat, at History House of Greater Seattle.
This weekend, on Saturday, November 8th, in North Bend, the Washington/Alaska Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (headquartered in Fremont,) will host the 9th Annual Winter Pineapple Classic 5K to raise money to fight blood cancers including myeloma, Hodgkin’s disease, lymphoma, and leukemia.
At the next Fremont First Friday Art Walk, on November 7th from 6p – 9p, enjoy a community-wide celebration of art, demonstrated with a diversity of expressions, at a wide variety of venues.
This Friday & Saturday, November 7th & 8th, at 7:30p, at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, enjoy an evening of dance, music & projection storytelling inspired by the ‘Le Petite Prince’.
t’s been two sad and empty years since the last ‘Quiz Night for Day,’ but it’s time again, on November 4th starting at 7:30p, for a night of trivia, tacos and too much fun at Pecado Bueno.
